I like the schedule fine, but 4 D2 teams seems pretty high right? Have we had that many before? Three last year (3-0), but I can't remember 4. Anyway, just wondering.

If it plays out that way, I like having a D-II game on December 21. Give the guys a chance to go into conference play with a W on an up note, especially after playing two tough games against LSU and Mizzou on the road.

In the past D1 schools have only been allowed 4 non d1 games a year.(including exhibitions) I remember Oral Roberts forfeiting a couple of conference games a few years back because of this rule. Has it been changed?

In Underwood's first season the NCAA said they were going to make us forfeit a few games because of this, but then for some reason decided not to.

That was due to ACU and UIW not counting as D1 in 2013-2014. So anyone like us got screwed due to already having scheduled the non-D1 limit (I believe we had 3 D2 games + a scrimmage). The NCAA then reversed the ruling, since the conference was forcing all members to play ACU and UIW.

If I remember correctly.

Jontay Porter, 2018 5* commit to Mizzou (and brother to Michael Porter) is reclassifying for 2017. Ridiculous class for Mizzou, and makes our game harder.

If I remember correctly.

It sounds like ibtsoom is correct and one of those D2 games will have to become a D1 game.

They're conflicted. My wife wonders how it can be a moral dilemma between going to potentially make a fair amount of my year's income or stay home to watch a game. But there it is, a conflict.

1-0 at least against D1 teams - the last place rated RPI team from last year.

I'm still stoked about easing into the season. It gives us a much better shot at knocking off a decent team. Boy I can't wait!
