VanSickle, Traylor-Walker, Vann and LeMelle all not suited up. With the first 2 being full time starters it does leave us short

This was the first Ladyjack game I've gotten to watch beginning to end. Last night was rough. Based on what I saw, Perry needs a ton of work. Passes were not good too many times, and for some reason she cannot hit a bucket from under the basket. To be fair, seems like the TEAM cannot shoot under the basket. Lucky for sure to walk away with a win.

You're right about Mika Perry. She played very well in the two previous games but played terribly in this one. Of the rest of the players only Key Roseby played well the entire way. And after no one could hit a three for most of the game, thankfully they started making a few in the second half.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. This was one of those days.

I wonder when Avery and Ashlyn get back on the court?

Did the Ladyjacks play up to their potential? No.

Did they win because of luck? Absolutely not. Just like the men in the following game, they didn't play their best, but still did what they needed to do to gut out a win. There is a true freshman running point. Perry hasn't played in two years. Cajuste hasn't played in two years. ACU was the first real competition they have played this season.
