A couple of questions for you, 85...
1) What's the difference between the Keon Thompson of 2024-25 and the one of this season? Why did he "go off" last night? Is he a different player physically, seemed to show a better attitude, called for the ball from teammates more, etc., or did Braeuer just play him differently than Keller did? And why did Braeuer play him so many minutes in a preseason scrimmage? He could have been hurt.
2) How did Prison Tech wipe out that 20 point lead in the second half? Our bench players failed to perform well, or did SFA go cold and the Prisoners just get hot? Some hot shooting and Coach tinkering with the rotation. Christmas and Colonel are pretty strong from the defensive perspective.
3) Name 3 or 4 of the new guys you think will make major contributions this year. Maybe didn't score that much last night but you can see contributing greatly in other ways.
Physically he (Thompson) was 100%. Mentally, you could see it in his face. Coach B put trust in Keon and he turned it on. Going to the bucket.
Eltramon Smith Had some special moments. Moves to the bucket. And he's left hand dominant.
Colonel had some nice defensive moments. Blocked one of Sam's big guys multiple times
Lateef Patrick is going to see some time. He's good at stretching out the floor. Creates space.
I see Mohammed as the strong candidate to back up Thompson.
Alisas isn't used to the doors of the game, yet. With a little work Alisas probably gives you more than Southwick.
Lots to like , up and down the roster. Harris Dar didn't play and neither did Yohan.
