Dallas was at the Region XIV Juco tournament recently in Baytown. I don't know about the other assistants, but he is still working.

As an aside, Angelina College was an at large for the Juco National Championship tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. They won their first game to make it to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time ever. Their next game is today.
They have a really solid team. They put a beat down on us (TJC) at the tournament. Not quite a Notre Dame beat down, but still they opened a can on us! lol
AC beat Jones tonight pretty solidly. Play South Plains tomorrow

Yep can confirm. It really does look like Coach Braeuer is going for some defense minded coaches. Connected with him in Sam Houston when Sam had a great defense. I do hope it's a mentality of Defense strong but strong scorers.

I haven't watched tech in a few years. What type of game do they play?

Not sure. I did post a video on Techs defense and ability to score. I'll repost it here in a second. Well after rewatching that video I did post. It was the one under coach beard that was heavy defense. But it does seem that mind set under the new UNT Coach.

AC lost to South Plains by 79-70. Best MBB season ever at AC.

AC stayed ahead up until the last eight minutes and then couldn't buy a basket while South Plains got hot. Great season

So with it all about the money these days, how much are we able to pay any player at this point?

I chatted with a basketball parent with a kid at a D1 school. All players received a base minimum over and above their scholarship from NIL. Then basically NIL "incentives" once they get to campus like appearances etc. Do we have something like this?

I don't know if there's a "base minimum", but there's certainly opportunities for NIL funds for athletes in all sports for participating in community activities. And in some sports, including MBB, the HC has some discretion in how the funds are distributed among his/her players.
