Nice guard play. David was more aggressive which is a huge. Similarly, Posey is showing that he can penetrate the paint and make his shot. We are going to need that on nights when Gavin is not playing well.

A couple of observations.

Aku is an absolute waste of a scholarship. Eight minutes, five fouls, zero rebounds, two turnovers. He was 2-2 at the free throw line. So, there's that I suppose.

Roti Ware. Back on the bench the last two or three games. Sitting next to the coaches. Talking to the young guards. I believe his presence, and what he is doing, is meaningful to the recent improvement. I hope he travels with the team.

(Attendance 1,859.)

Oh, and the teddy bear toss was outstanding!

My girls loved tossing two of them. My youngest couldn't come because she was apoplectic at the thought.

Interesting game. Lots of head scratching moments. Broadcast team sounding pretty good, but the English teacher in me finds it tough to listen because of some poor grammatical mistakes. But I digress. I am not sure I will ever see enough to understand Aku and Willis getting playing time. Very weak.

I see Willis being good enough to eat a few minutes. He doesn't help a lot, but he doesn't make many mistakes. Only 3 turnovers in 142 minutes. Six assists and four steals in that time.

Aku …. he doesn't help, and he makes multiple mistakes on both ends of the floor. 24 fouls and 10 turnovers in 68 minutes.

Yep. Willis rarely makes defensive mistakes which is better than the alternatives.

So you're saying, "He contributes absolutely nothing on offense but he's not as bad as the alternatives on defense." Geez Louise....
