Anyone want to venture a theory as to why John does not start?

Nothing against Shannon, but we are so clearly better when John runs the point.

Theory is just to help manage minutes.

We gonna close that gap.

Jock is an absolute disaster on defense.

Now I know why he does not get any minutes.

I don't understand why every game we leave guys open for threes.

Is it just me or does Kevon seem quieter than normal this season?

Like, he'll put up 20 a night, but doesn't seem to take over games like we know he can.

Our basic defensive principle is to allow some open looks, as we believe the amount of turnovers caused due to pressure will be greater than the amount of three pointers made.

When we were lighting folks up last year, it was because we caused way more turnovers than three pointers allowed.

Tonight...Nicholls is being awesome with ball possession and we look like hot trash. Both on offense and defense.

This isn't last year though. From what I have seen, not working.

First two conference games settle the fact that we won't 'be good when conference starts' . No one may want to play us in March, but it may not matter by then. Injuries are injuries, get over it. We don't look like a very good team right now.

We were 1-1 with a great nonconference last year. I'll take 2-0 with a ho-hum nonconference this year. By the way, we only scored 21 last week...so better right?

No freaking joke. We've been basing our whole season on, "Tough non-conference, but conference is what matters and that's when we'll show up."

I'm waiting. Early season losses to teams you are (should be) better than is the difference between 1/2 seeds and 3/4 seeds come tourney time.
