Well thankfully there won't be any mud on our turf, but it won't be pretty. Hopefully with it being homecoming the crowd will be there despite the weather. I'm out of town the next two weekends, but I'll try to watch online. Best of luck Jacks.

I am guessing we can bring seat back chairs into the stadium right?

Of course you can bring seatback chairs. Much of the home side already has full chairs.

I'm guessing the turnout will be low with rain etc. if we are 4-2 next year coming into homecoming I'd expect 14,000. This year I'd guess 8000 - 9000.

A few years ago at Northwestern State's stadium, they wouldn't let me take an umbrella into the stadium -- and it rained hard the entire game. (Our last championship season, I believe.) That's taking security a bit too far. Hope they'not still doing that sort of brainless thing over there on the wrong side of the Sabine.

The rain actually scares me a lot. HBU is one of the best run defense teams in the entire league. SFA has already struggled to run. Do you want to see Blumrick airing it out in a downpour?

Rainy games at Homer Bryce Stadium are usually a ton of fun.
I still remember the upset over UCA on parents weekend being one of the most fun games ever.

Anyone else think it's stupid to call out sponsors for every first down and every trip to the red zone? I would expect that at a D-III school but not here.

An ugly win, but a win is a win is a win...... Defense looked good. Offense's ground game looked good. Passing game looked, well, anything but good.

Good win. Our passing game is still to predictable. Our O-Line needs to make significant strides to get us into the top 3 (SLC) next year.

Our passing game has been too predictable in the recent past but today there was a reason for that. Good explanation in the post game audio. Wanted them to cheat on those outside throws to open the running game up the middle late. It worked.

I was in the one more year camp after the last two weeks. I was out of it after the first four minutes today. Looked like a team that just did not want to be there.

Run game showed up. Passing game execution and play calling is not good. Jake appears to have his mind made up where he is throwing the ball regardless. Example is that interception into triple coverage.

Defense was solid after the opening drive. However, HBU offense is really bad.

Back in the one more year camp. Really looking forward to basketball season though.
