Wow. What a game. We are going to have to get it together before the Lamar game!! That was too close!
Is it windy or something in Nac?????

VERY LUCKY to get this win. Spare me the we outplayed them or any of that talk. UIW came in with a good plan offensively--without all the early drops they had this game turns out differently.
I do agree with Rutherford. Games like this make the team better and gives a wake up call. We needed a game like this.

To our credit we did prevail in the final score. Definitely was our biggest test so far.
Plenty work on with the bye week. Some fewer penalties, no stupid fouls and respect every opponent.

Will be seeing much more QB draws from opposing teams from here on out.
So glad to see the Jacks at 6-0 going into the open week.

Outplayed, outcoached, out kicked but not outscored. Take it and move on. Credit UIW. We let them believe in the 2nd quarter and this is what can happen.
Fun to be 6-0… thankfully

Correct on all counts. We play like this against Lamar and we're toast, especially at their place.
After tonight only SFA and Lamar are undefeated in conference play, SFA @ 3-0 and Lamar @ 2-0.

Jenkins has only carried the ball 5 times. What gives??
I don't get that either. Seemed like we could have used more of him

Pretty good bet that Jenkins got banged up in some way--that's the only imaginable reason that his play was limited tonight.
Bye week a good time to heal minor injuries.

Our cornerbacks were exposed. It's ok to give up some of those slants in the crease. But those routes on the outside. They just FEASTED on us. We controlled the run. But today our DB's looked average. At best.
I don't think Nicholls will test us, so maybe we can make some adjustments.

Frisby is the best DB in the country. No question.
A couple of plays down the stretch, he was beat. Badly.
For chunks of the game he was more than good.
