Both teams riding an 11-game win streak into this one with SFA getting no respect, major underdogs, which is what I like.
Will SFA have starting DB: #19 MICHAEL PATTERSON III 5-10; 168 (SO.) and DB: #1 CHARLES DEMMINGS 6-1; 190 (SR.) back for the quarterfinals as they were injured in the game against ACU?
Also, the nation's leader in punt returns WR: #9 BUGS MORTIMER 5-10; 177 (JR.)
Mortimer averages 22 yards per return and has scored 4 TD's on returns.

I am not sure about demmings and Patterson but I have heard that bugs will be out 4-6 weeks
Hate that Bugs is out. He has the ability to turn a game around. Not complaining about Harris returning punts mind you but him making catches and Bugs making moves is a winning deal.
In regards to the odds posted above.....I have a current dream scenario-----SFA defeats Montana St and then South Dakota pulls the huge upset at Montana.
This would lead to SFA hosting a semi final vs South D. I would not think twice about skipping my relatives annual Christmas get together and head to Nac.

Me either, jboy. That was a fun trip, though, despite the eventual outcome. I still have the game program in my closet. Look at it occasionally. Great players on that team, just like now.

Agreed. The bigger picture of reported attendance seems to go like this:
Sam Houston reports 3700 at Shell Stadium - actual 370
SFA reports 8900 at HB - actual looks more like 12000.

My only guess as to why the attendance is so weird and they're not counting attendance is that they can't think of a way to accurately do it.

I think it's worth emailing the AD about if you want to head up that responsibility. Lol. It's not the first time this has happened and not only does it help justify the stadium, it helps with recruiting, encouraging student attendance and alumni attendance, and it gives the players something to be excited about when they see that number.
I think we are doing a disservice to everyone involved by recording it the way we do.
Yes, I remember the clickers, but I'm not seeing them anymore, and yes, I agree over estimate rather than under estimate on the attendance, geez, Tarleton State does it all the time.
NCAA gets a cut of the sold ticket revenue for the playoff games. Report 12,000, and they want their cut for 12,000. There are other wrinkles also. Attendance numbers are subject to be audited.
