This is a fantastic effort from the offense. The most points MTST gave up to FCS teams this year was 30 (South Dakota St) and 31 (Montana). We're as good, offensively, as them.

Just need some help from the boys on the other side.

Defense got cooked early and couldn't make a second half stop. Don't know if it would have been different with Demmings and Patterson or not, but Montana State has done everything they needed on offense.

SFA had to play a near perfect game, the TO's, the dropped passes, and explosive plays were too plentiful for the boys in blue.

It was a good run gentlemen. I'm heartbroken but proud. We are on the way up.

Valiant effort from the offense the past two games.

Defensively, just couldn't quite ratchet it up enough.

400+ yards to ACU and closing in on 500 for MTST.

Both teams over 200 on the ground.

For as good as we were in the regular season, this was not a great showcase for us defensively.

That, though, should not take away at all from an otherwise amazing season. Really took some strides and now we know what that next level looks and feels like.

And, we bullied ESPN to get rid of SF Austin!

Extremely proud of this team. The future for SFA football has never been brighter too. We should kill it in the transfer portal after this year and reload our roster really well this offseason.

Great season for the Jacks! I believe we are destined for greatness in the short term if we can keep the coaches from leaving and players out of the portal!

I was thinking 10-2 and the 2nd round midseason. 11-3 and the 3rd round is a great accomplishment.

Tarleton will win the Natty this year following in Sam Houston's foot steps. SFA is always a day late and dollar short, but maybe we can pull it together in a couple of years and win one for us!

They are just false starting to taunt us now.

A fittingly very ugly final possession.

We just cant help ourselves. Gave up at the end.

Great season for Carthel, Vidlak, Harris and co. Glad that this season was a true step forward. Got to find a way to keep moving film the right direction.

SFA has a taste of postseason success now and the powers at be are finally committing to football. We will be back.

The Jacks took a very big step. Without the turnovers, it's a much different game. We showed we can definitely play at their level. Carthel now has a huge platform to improve the team
