Yes sir that is what the college coaching market has gone to. 1 yr deals and if your good you might might just get a 2 yr deal.. If the players can move around so can the asst coaches.. We are lucky Carthel is very well respected in the coaching profession and we will always have some good up and coming coaches. They may not last long but they will go on to another school that 99% of the time just pays better than we can afford at SFA. I am sure all schools are deal with this not just us..

Very for grateful for my time in Pueblo. The relationships created here will last a lifetime. I can’t wait to see what’s to come for Steel City!

Many NCAA programs are nixing spring games now. With the transfer portal out of control, they don't want other schools scouting their players and then picking off some low hanging fruit via the portal.

Is SFA scheduled to have a spring game? Personally, I hope not, for the reason above.

Yeah. The spring game was supposed to be exciting for the players to get out in front of the fans again but I can be easily replaced with a closed scrimmage.
