Vidlak looks really really good.. The way he is slinging the ball around is something we haven't seen in a good while..He has so much talent around him if we can survive this next portal session then we will have a really special team.. Defense is playing really fast like I have never seen before.. I pray Bobino doesn't leave but if he does I understand and that is the way it is now in college football..

I believe Vidlak at the very least has no chance of leaving. He's played transfer game. It hasn't always worked out. Plus it seems he really, really likes it at SFA and loves the coaching staff. It's been echo'd plenty, but Carthel makes those kids fall in love with the program. If we have a good season, make the postseason, and maybe win a couple of playoff games, I think the transfer portal will be very friendly to SFA not for a rebuild, but a reload.
He's gonna be the face of the Lumberjacks this season, and if he plays as well or better than last season and stays healthy could have a record setting season.
Didn't mean to insinuate Vidlak leaving if I did.. He is 100% locked in to SFA and the team.. He is a Carthel boy all the way.. I just worry about a couple Defensive players along with a couple skill position players
I'm sure some of y'all follow Spencer Hall and Every Day Should be Saturday.
They have an annual donation contest called the EDSBS Charity Bowl where college football comes together to raise money for New American Pathways refugee resettlement program. Their goal is 500k every year but last year they raised 1.1 million.
It's for a great cause and to spite our rivals. edsbscharitybowl.com
You can donate an amount for a memorable score, or other important date. I went with 51 for Len's first 2 year win total.
Hope y'all can join and we can get SFA higher on the board and help some folks out too.

2023 (Junior): Played and started in the first six games before being lost for the rest of the season due to injury…Notched 12 tackles (nine solo) two pass breakups and a forced fumble versus Texas State (9/30)…Had season-high five stops versus Texas State…Had three tackles against Arkansas State (9/23) with two each coming against Florida State (9/9) and Tulane (9/16).
TJ Atkins entered the portal. Had to expect we'd lose a couple more, fortunately our receiving corps is so stacked now we actually have the depth to lose a couple.

Yes, he did sign, I just had players who had stats listed.
I'll take a look at all the players who signed according to Twitter and make a list, of course I don't know all who are coming back from last season, so if I list anyone that somebody on the message board knows is gone, let me know.
Getting more excited about this upcoming season every time I read the forum. With Henry back, that makes 4 returning OL starters. Plus if Bobino is back we all know what he means to the team.. spring is shaping up nice.
