This is the difference between the house in the 2022 season the 2025 season. In 2022 we lost so many players (and coaches) to the transfer portal and didn't really replace them.

This year we haven't really lost anyone of super high importance to the portal or graduation and are just stacking the roster with playmakers.

Honestly anything short of pure dominance with the roster we have returning will be disappointing.

Hate to admit it. I'm more excited about football than basketball for the first time since 2010.

Sadly, I agree. Programs headed in different directions.

No need to be sad fellas! I know we have been a basketball school for a while & I still hope they continue to have the success they've had. That being said, Texas is a football state & it's time for SFA to run the FCS in Texas!

Yep! It's always been my opinion SFA should be a SPORTS school. Not a basketball or football school. We should strive for all of our programs to be championship programs, and be there and loud for all of them!

Basketball will be back, but right now it looks like it's football's turn bring us that excitement! At least that's my hope.

SawmillGuy, your point of view always gives me a lift. Bravo! Much appreciated the lift. The last week or two has been rough for the rabid SFA fan (like me)

I've been using our WSOC championship and WVB solid season fuel my fandom. I'm going to need a program to step it up this spring.

This upcoming football season will be special. But I want a capacity crowd that rivals eons past for this next season.
