ACU responds even more quickly with a flea flicker play resulting in long TD pass to TE. Now 21-13

Actually a fun game to watch except I fear the trend is now heavily favoring ACU.

It's great to see SFA using the trick plays successfully in a crucial game. SFA is finally opening things up offensively.

Oh, wait. That's not SFA.... Never mind...

A nice 60 yard pass and run to Gipson is wasted when ACU blocks a FG attempt. The wrong trend continues.

Well, we've got a once in a lifetime player, and other good players, but we're really not a championship caliber team, haven't been all year…even so still have a chance…gotta do it right here.

Jacks over 400 yards of total offense thus far but some mistakes have left points on the field not scoreboard.
Jacks get a FG to cut it to 21-16. Need to get to the endzone if we are going to get this game.

Don't understand the intentional short kickoff. ACU starts at their 40 yard line.

Defense holds and ACU hits a short punt. Still alive.

This was not pretty, but the Jacks did just enough to get the W. WAC CHAMPIONS!

Also credit to the ACU broadcast crew and announcers. They do it right and the announcers do a good, fair job of calling the game evenly without the "homer" bias.

I just want to give another shoutout to them for this. Their broadcast was much better than the SFA broadcast. It could not have easy to act excited when Self runs for the touchdown or the Lumberjacks hit long passes to X. They were very professional.

I agree. Their biases showed a couple of times, but they held it in check pretty well. And doing a post-game interview with Self was unexpected but welcomed and well done. Wish our people could do a football (or basketball) broadcast half as well.

Looks like ACU really prides themselves on their broadcasting and is the place to go for your Radio and TV degree.

I had to watch the last 20 minutes again. Wow. Trae Self & Xavier Gipson. What a duo. Crazy. 6-5 wasn't what we had hoped for but in the end it felt pretty good.
