Got think we are literally 3 plays from 6-0 right now.

Yup. And probably a top 4 ranking.

This team is still building it's winning foundation. But I don't want to just catch lightning in a bottle once, although that'd be nice. I want this team to be a perennial power. No reason we can't get there.

It was nice to see other receivers make plays and more than Gibson getting multiple receptions. We all know teams will focus on Gibson. We have the weapons.

We will be. Trae still has another season, so I bet he'll be a Walter Payton candidate next year.
Xavier will probably also be a finalist for a ton of awards over the next two years.
We will be very good for a while.

Agreed. I thought that hurt us in the Tech and Sam games especially. We need someone to show up and be able to move the chains when they're smothering Gipson. That was a positive development yesterday.

Totally agree about Gibson.

Trae will need a really really strong finish to be on any type of watch list.

Those things take a lot into account the season before, then put you on the "Watch List" for the current year.

Remember, Jeremy Moses won the Walter Payton the year AFTER his best statistical year.

So, a big strong finish by Trae could get him the necessary notice.

True, but Zach Conque(who I will still very strongly claim is the most underrated QB in school history) was consistently a Walter Payton candidate with less successful seasons win wise. So I would think Trae's natural athletic ability along with his underrated arm ability will help him.
