I'm really not that discouraged. We're playing the 18th ranked team in the big boy division. Our offense and defense is showing some good signs - we were nervous and they are just way way better than us. And a couple of those incorrect calls should have been in our favor. I"m not saying this is going to be easy to watch and the score is going to be very lopsided, but I'm just happy our offense isn't frustrating me like it did the last several years under Crowton.

No one in the Southland is playing a team of this caliber. This isn't Tulsa, Kansas, or Baylor, even A&M isn't ranked, so I still think we could be a surprise this year. Regardless, we'll only be one game out of first at the end of the day.

We've done a decent job of hitting our WRs. We've been able to get some time in the pocket too, even though we've blown assignments on some calls.

Plus, we're atleast two blown calls better than the score says.

We do, that's true. But the performance tonight is better than the SMU performance, or the TCU performance - it just happens to be against #18. We look much improved over the product we put out at SMU, it just won't show it at the final gun. I mean, Nikki Wallace may get to double digits on the first series of the 3rd quarter, if she hasn't already.
