Gotta hope Vidlak goes off next year, wins a title, goes to the NFL, and convinces his brother SFA is worth it.

As a sophomore he's already garnered a lot of national attention, so tbh he will probably get some P5 offers before it's all said and done(Sam did go to Oregon St on scholarship to start his career).

The prospect of coming to an FCS school like SFA to start right away and build your resume is a good selling point though. It worked for UIW with Cam.

Yeah, a source close to Sam told me that Sam has mentioned his brother is better than he ever was in high school, and he's just a sophomore. I'm sure Titus gets some really good P5 offers. The coaches might need to sell it as him being a day 1 true freshman starter and we get one really good year out of him.

To earn a 5-star long snapper rating, a recruit must demonstrate the ability to start immediately at a Power 5 (now Power 4/Major FBS) college program.

Ratings are primarily issued by specialized specialist evaluation services like Kohl's Long Snapping and Rubio Long Snapping, rather than general services like 247Sports or Rivals.

A 5-star prospect typically meets the following measurable and technical criteria:

• Snap Speed: Consistently snapping a 15-yard punt in 0.65 to 0.75 seconds or faster.

• Accuracy: Mastery of the "Rubio Zone" (lowest rib to mid-thigh, armpit to armpit) and the ability to consistently hit the punter's hip or "laces out".
