SIZE:
Gavin has good size for a 2023 Pro Style at 6'1" 195 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket showing good patience and vision downfield. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to his release.

ACCURACY:
Throws made in-line with his receivers, allowing for them to make a play on the ball. Very good ball placement. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.He's able to fire it in with high velocity at short range, while also displaying good distance. He does a nice job making the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws, adding a softer touch when the situation calls for it.

RELEASE:
Throws with an over the top delivery, able to get good extension on his release. Shows good footwork prior to set up as well as a consistent arm motion.

THROW ON RUN:
Gavin has good vision while getting outside the pocket. Able to locate his targets, good body rotation and directional swing as he squares up.

FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork of the dropbacks as well as his set ups. Not considered a dual threat but can serve as a running QB in short yard situations.

POISE:
He does a great job picking up on defensive pressure, creating space for himself. Very calm under pressure able to maintain his focus on the play.

POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket, locating weaknesses within the defense, delivering soft tosses in and over zone coverage.

DECISION MAKING:
Gavin's an intelligent QB, able to hit on big play opportunities. He does a great job finding the soft spots within the defense, and delivering the ball with excellent location.

TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Gavin. Does a great job adjusting the velocity of his throws when needed.

Yes, if you go back a few pages 88 was talking about him and how he was unstoppable at camp, could play right away.

He is also a big get for the track and field , got lots of offers from major programs for his shot put skills, but he wants to play football as well.
