We are in the mix! CF said we are the favorite and said we could have this kid committed possibly by our first game this year. Would be a big time signee for the Jacks. This is one who could get some bigger offers due to his track resume. So it will be a hell of a recruiting win if CC and the gang can make it happen. 10.9 - 100m and 65+ shotput

One of the top sleepers in the Lone Star State is 2023 edge defender Trey Wilson, whose track and field prowess headlines his case for more recruiting attention. The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder won his first six shot put events between early March and late April, throwing at least 56 feet every time. His 61-9 won regionals to propel him to state, where he posted a PR of 62-2.75, which earned bronze in Class 6A. Wilson also ran the 100 meters at five different spring meets, three of which he ran 11.54 or faster, including an impressive 11.39 during district preliminaries in mid-April. Still looking for his first FBS offer, Wilson owns a high three-star 88 on 247Sports.
The kid is high character too. Got to talk with him and his dad for a bit. Faske has done a great job recruiting and building a relationship with him and his father. I have faith that CF and CC will be able to pull this one out and sign him to be a lumberjack!!

CC has been a great asset to SFA, but getting Faske was icing on the cake. I have read numerous posts on recruiting and he seems to have a play in all of it! Hopefully we can keep him just a bit longer.
