Amazingly I think SFA is his only offer.
Have family who coaches in that district. He works in a super QB friendly offense. Air raid in the Mike Leach sense of the word. A lot of potential because of his size and arm strength but as is always the problem in air raid offenses, the QB doesn't read defenses. The QB in our offense needs to be able to make reads.
So probably a good get IF he commits. But gonna take work to teach him to read defenses in a much more complex offense.

It won't happen, but I think an air raid offense would be a super fun thing to watch at SFA. Plus, it would put fannies in the stands.
We are pretty QB heavy right now on the roster.

You must've forgotten our conference championships and number 1 offenses of about 10 years ago.
The offense worked for a couple of years but it's also pretty easy to scheme against now and has the potential to create a TON of turnovers. I like the pro style attack we're using now, we just need to get used to it.

I think the real reason we offered Dillon is for the chance of getting his twin brother, Austin, who we've also offered. They have said they want to play together and Austin has a lot of bigger offers so offering both brothers was a good move.SFA Jack Fanatic said:SFAXE93 said:

Plus, two 6'5 brothers? Deal.
Heck, he may be a QB now, but could grow into a lot of positions. QB, WR, TE, OL. Plenty of options for a kid that wants to get playing time.

Just noticed our defensive ends coach was cited in the top 35 coaches under 35.
