Right now, Nicholls has five unfilled basketball scholarships for 2018/19. They recently had a recruit commit to Southern. Southern. Three returning players from last year's championship team.

Currently 12 of 13 in the Commisioner's Cup equaling last year results.

Ladyjacks give up only one run in the first inning, but that was enough for Texas Tech. Red Raiders end the Ladies' season 1-0. The Ladyjacks have laid a good foundation for the future. Now they have to build on it. They have to get a couple of pitchers, though, since both starters were seniors this year.

Proud of what you accomplished this year, Ladyjacks! Second in the SLC and made the postseason. Not too shabby!

My bad! Sorry! Thought this was a one-and-done tourney.

Out hit Tech 4 to 2. Sikes pitched a heck of a game.

UTA/UCA first pitch is scheduled for 10:00 PM due to weather. Those are going to be some tired young women.

UTA wins 9-1 in five.

Now the season is over. 3-1 lead in seventh inning. Bring Sikes in. One of the top three pitchers in the SLC. She walks three. Guffey back in the game. Sac fly, walk, foul out, two strike grand slam. 6-3 final.

Terrible ending to a really good season
