These three Jacks are on fire...

#22 Josh Ibe (Jr.) AVG.0.342

Loving the aggressive base running from SFA lately, they are currently #2 in the conference with 68 stolen bases.

Make it three in a row, and the Jacks win their second straight conference series of the season, the hot bats continue to swing with 12 hits producing 6 runs, as SFA takes the series.

Cody Templeton gets the win (6-4) with his 3rd complete game of the season giving up only 2 earned runs and 7 hits, striking out 8 and walking 2.

The future of SFA baseball is bright. And that's a thought I don't think I've ever had. There's a fight in this team and with this new coach. The next few years of Lumberjack Baseball should be very fun.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
SFA:13 (18-31; 9-21)
UIW:12 (17-32; 3-27)
Final

What an end to the season, a season where SFA was picked to finished dead last again, but the Jacks instead prevailed and did one place better, edging out UIW to conclude a season of rebuilding.

This one went back and forth as the pitching struggled for both teams, recording 31 total hits and 25 runs.

It was 13-9 in favor of SFA going into the top of the 9th when UIW mounted a fierce rally scoring 3 runs off of 2 home runs, but Reid Boyett closed it out saving the game for the Jacks 4th straight win, first conference series sweep of the season and finishing 7-3 in the last 10 games.

#3 Ethan Adkisson (Jr.) 1 run, 3 hits, 5 RBI's, 1 walk
#1 Cemodrick Bland (Fr.) 2 runs, 3 hits, 2 RBI's
#17 Mark Henning (Sr.) 3 runs, 3 hits, 1 RBI

What a great way to end the season and to move forward with a team at an all time high in moral, as the new coaching staff gets a full offseason to continue recruiting, and replenishing what is lost or will be lost in the following months.
