Game 1
SFA:2 (7-39; 3-22)
UTAH TECH:10 (11-34; 9-16)FinalLast home stand for the SFA seniors and things did not start off well with a quick 6 run 1st inning for the Trailblazers as Will Larson didn't even make it through the inning before getting pulled.
Andrew Kithil came in and settled things down pitching a nice 1 run 4 inning stretch with 2 K's.
But the damage was done as the Jacks could only manage 2 runs off of 7 hits.
Game 2
SFA:12 (8-39; 4-22)Utah Tech:4 (11-35; 9-17)
FinalThe Jacks fire right back in the second game of the double hitter with a nice pitching performance by Parker (2-2), Bowyer and Boyett Reid, and Crew Wilson combining for 4K's, 4 walks, and giving up only 3 ER's off of 6 hits.
Utah Tech once again jumped out to an early lead on some aggression base running to take a 3-1 advantage into the 5th when SFA answered with back to back homers from seniors Cal Martin (5th) and Tyree Carr (2nd) putting the Jacks ahead 4-3.
It was all SFA after that, as the Jacks score 11 runs in 3 innings (12 runs off of 15 hits)
Griffin with maybe his best game of the season gets 3 runs off of 3 hits (1 triple) with 4 RBI's.
