SFA has not had back to back winnings seasons since then, with only one winning season, and one non-losing season since then, and SFA has not been to a conference baseball tournament since 2019.

That 17 runs scored against Texas A&M CC was the most runs scored in a game by SFA since 2010 when they did it 3 times along with the second most runs in SFA history 20 runs.

Also those 7 home runs against A&M CC was the most home runs in a single game in SFA history, breaking the 2011 record of 6 against McNeese State.

With 2010-2011 being the best seasons in SFA history since 2005, maybe this is a sign that the Jacks have the horses this season to break through to new uncharted territory.
