Another 30 win season. Final game for high quality seniors including Cam, Gaby, Mac, Syd, , Dubose, Sophie. They had real success through changing conferences, Covid, and a coaching change. Gonna miss them.

I hope you are correct.

Link through facebook, Ivey wishes him (Bruister) well on his new venture and then that a National search is underway for new coach.

Hope this search will focus on someone that will stay for awhile to help build program.
Also hope the 4 Grayson recruits will still be Nac bound.

Looked around at JUCO and D2 rankings this year, UT Tyler is like 51-4. There are two JUCO coaches at Odessa and Galveston with great records.

In addition you could look at an assistant at places line Ark/Texas/OU.

Should be a good number of candidates who can all win here.

My thoughts exactly. You don't leave a D1 university job for a high school job in a town of 1000 people. He clearly already had the job lined up. This sounds like family or health reasons. I wish him the best. He is a great coach.

Ya I figured something health or family wise probably needed far less travel. And HS definitely provides that.
