At the PLF luncheon on Monday, he mentioned we were getting interest from some potential D1 transfers.

Also, at Norman, they played 100 (40, 30, 30 periods) minutes losing 2-0 to OU. Minatta is high energy and very personable. I am cautiously optimistic about soccer getting back to the top of the SLC. Playing at Lamar tomorrow should be a good barometer of where we are.

Whoever is writing all of the articles about women's sports (obviously someone new to SFA) has been calling them the Jacks for a while now. They are not the Jacks, they are the Ladyjacks!

The second double overtime match in just under 48 hours. And, it was really, really hot and humid. The legs were gone by the end of the match, but they never stopped battling. Another week or so to finish the new grandstands, etc. As volleyball was on Friday, this was a "social distance" sellout. First time to sell tickets for both sports. Good crowd of ACU fans buying tickets.

76, how do the new digs look? From the photos is a definitive upgrade. Some type of locker room would probably make the good even gooder......LOL.

Huge upgrade from what was there just a few months ago. Fence, grand stands, mobile suite, concessions. Some of the old bleachers outside the fence on the north end, which is really good during the attendance restrictions. Tent at the NW corner has not been repaired/replaced yet. Looking forward to the day we can fill the stands.

Soccer has a decent locker room. Problem is that it is a bus ride away from the field.

The fall portion of the schedule ends with a 2-1-2 record. With the new coach, and a new system, it was really valuable to get these matches in. The freshman from Spain will be an add for the spring part of the season. From what I have heard, she will be a terrific addition.

That is favorable...I may get to tag in some soccer and/or volleyball with some basketball in February. Always like to get the most action I can on my road trips to Nac.
