Looks like the Lufkin/Longview football game is the same time as the SFA/Rice game. Need to there early to get a parking spot???

Get there VERY early...There will be north of 20k at that football game...
My wife is going to drop me off. I do have a hidden spot not too far from the Coliseum, but I'm not ready to sell its location yet. 
Parking will be rough. I have before driven two cars in in the morning and grabbed a good spot, and then been dropped off later. Good luck all.

Step 1: Arrive early wearing SFA Polo & Khakis
Step 2: Direct incoming football fans to the box office at WRJ to get their "tickets" for the game.
Step 3: Enjoy the capacity crowd for the basketball team.
Seriously though, who in our admin was like "ya, let's put that HS football game at the exact time that our basketball team has an exciting non conference opponent?"

Didn't think about the parking situation. That's going to be a MESS.
Also, if you live locally, take Uber.

I could see this hurting the attendance for this game.
On the bright side, someone from the SFA Athletics team should get an overhead shot of the stadium.
Will be packed and if Lufkin is home...we can use the photo as a recruiting tool.

I'm pretty sure there was a photo, at one point, of the 2004 Longview/Lufkin game on the "facilities" tab of the Athletics website.

There will probably be more SFA alums at the Longview vs Lufkin game than the hoops game.

Here is an update from the AD on the parking situation.
I'm assuming the parking garages are normally not all open and/or come with a charge on the weekend?

Correct. The garages are usually not available without a pass. This should help some. I wonder how crowded the garage on Wilson Drive usually is?

With an extra 20k+ on campus, it's going to be a mess regardless. Blocking off a small section in the normal lot won't help a ton, since that lot gets pretty full for a normal game.
