Best win: NDSU (RPI 77) Best Loss: Mississippi State (RPI 39) -5

Louisiana Tech - BPI - 92 SOS - 300 SOR - 66 RPI - 20
Best win: Evansville (RPI 134) Best Loss: Alabama (RPI 6) -3

Knock out BPI and RPI and these two teams are much more similar. Louisiana Tech's schedule is marginally better with SFA sporting a better SOR. SFA has a better win than Louisiana Tech, but Louisiana Tech was arguably more impressive in their only loss.

Outside of their SEC matchups, this is the toughest matchup of the year for each team. However, the more I think about it the more comfortable I am with this game. That doesn't say much because this game should be close, but I feel confident in SFA coming out with a win. I think they catch LT off guard and hopefully get on a run early to get some space.

Maybe I should just quit my job and open a sports bar that has everything, but also features SFA sports. I feel like that's an untapped market in Houston that would get very "okayish" business from some very annoying alumni who will still probably leave at halftime.

I love the halftime comment. That's a big gripe for me. Especially football. We'll be in a game and for no real reason about 30% of our fans leave at halftime. Another 30% leave mid way thru the 3rd quarter. Ugh.

It's so obvious two years ago Sam Houston State's Hype video featured clips of our fans leaving NRG stadium early.

What a horrendous way to end the first half.

17 minutes of great play, wiped away by total meltdown in the last 3 minutes.

Disheartening.

But at least there was 17 minutes of stellar play. Strong first half with a disappointing finish.

6 blocks in that half was rough. We go up slow to draw fouls, but they have been vicious around the rim. We can do this. The uptempo play helps us, and TJ sat for about 10 minutes. More Kevon, TJ, Bogues, and Gilmore next half. Aaron has been playing great too. Solid work on both sides in a big game.

Don't mind the travelling calls as long as they are consistent. But they missed an obvious walk on the Jean three point play. Brutal.
