This is round three of this year's prediction competition. We're still looking for a sponsor for this year's competition, so if you know of someone or if you would like to donate to the cause, PM me.

It is a very simple contest, just copy and paste what I have below between the two lines and fill in your prediction including the tiebreaker. The tiebreaker will occasionally change so be aware and make sure to check it. In order to determine the winner I will take the difference between your prediction of the SFA points and their actual points. Then I will take the difference of your prediction of the opponents points and their actual points. I will then add them together and determine the outcome. If you choose the wrong winner, you will be assessed a penalty which will be the worst score of those that chose the right winner.

The closest prediction will receive 10 points and then so on (2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 8...). If you have a perfect prediction, you will receive an 8 points bonus! I will do my best to have the scores posted within the next day of the game but no guarantees.

The tiebreaker for this game is the total number of steals by both teams combined for the game. Good luck!

There's plenty of time to get into the game, so don't feel like you have missed the boat. At least 25 more games this season, so there's plenty of opportunity to be the big winner.

I'm posting interesting facts about the contest so far at the end of each Prediction thread. You might like to go back and read them and see if they will give you an inside edge.

Please invite your friends, colleagues, coworkers, worst enemies to join for the season. It will provide a great opportunity for you to lord your superior SFA knowledge over them. Also, even though we have not secured a sponsor for this year's prediction contest, we will have some sweet prizes at the end of the year guaranteed. So use this as a way to get more people coming to the Sawmill on a daily basis. i.e.. Promote the site.

Overruled. As the moderator of the event (and finally on the board), it was ok that I bribed the teams substantially to keep the score down.

Round three in the books. Everyone way overshot the scoring. The worst miss in the previous two rounds was by 25 cumulative points. Best guess in this round (TallTexan) was off by 34 points. So much for groupthink this round.

I know a couple of you are still trying to get on the board, but keep trying. The overall board is still low on points. Plenty of time to get into this.

34 points off the total points was the best guess, and two guesses were in 15 points of SFA's score. The median miss was 47 points off the total. More than triple the worst median yet.

We are a stealing team! 13 steals by us alone. 21 overall. I guessed the closest with 17. These tiebreakers are an interesting way to gauge the team. It will be interesting how much they affect the game. It was used to determine 4 different places in this game. Make sure you give a lot of thought to the tiebreaker!
