We're up to round two of this year's prediction competition. We're still looking for a sponsor for this year's competition, so if you know of someone or if you would like to donate to the cause, PM me.

It is a very simple contest, just copy and paste what I have below between the two lines and fill in your prediction including the tiebreaker. The tiebreaker will occasionally change so be aware and make sure to check it. In order to determine the winner I will take the difference between your prediction of the SFA points and their actual points. Then I will take the difference of your prediction of the opponents points and their actual points. I will then add them together and determine the outcome. If you choose the wrong winner, you will be assessed a penalty which will be the worst score of those that chose the right winner.

The closest prediction will receive 10 points and then so on (2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 8...). If you have a perfect prediction, you will receive an 8 points bonus! I will do my best to have the scores posted within the next day of the game but no guarantees.

The tiebreaker for this game is the number of points Kevon Harris has for the game. Good luck!

After two rounds, Ljacks is cleaning up with his second win in a row. Technically INiedrauer and PurpleForever tied in the competition by both being off by 6 total points and missing the tiebreaker by equal points (5). This has caused me to institute a second tiebreaker which is the prediction closest to SFA's score. In this case Isaac was one point off their total to win the second tiebreak. Sorry to make rules up on the fly, but that's how it is.

Just some interesting side notes about the contest.

- Everybody except one picked FAMU to finish in the 60's, but no one picked the correct score of 63. Because of this, no one was more than 6 points off of guessing their score.

- Everyone correctly picked SFA to win. Isn't that a nice situation against a D1 team?

- So far in the two games, the majority of points are accumulated by the last posters. The first 5 predictions have garnered 11 points in 2 games compared to 55 points for the final 5 predictions. This may be a case where the first predictions help to set the scope of acceptability for the predictions allowing the later guesses to hone the groupthink in. Food for thought: if you want to do better, pick later, but not too late...
