I don't get a year 1 extension. Anywhere in college sports, not just us.

It's all risk for us with usually very little reward. Did we not sign the original deal with the intent that he would win?

Sure, the buyout might be marginally higher if he wins next season but it could also turn out that we locked ourselves in to a longer term deal for a coach that can't repeat results.

Again.

Was it only a three-year deal in the first place? I never saw what was reported for his original contract length.

If it was that short term a deal, an extension would make more sense.

I just assumed it was three. Those are always the safest bets to make.

Verbalcommits now showing F:#10 YOHAN GUITERREZ 6-8 (R/FR.) transferring, so now two spots open.

Fine by me. Lots of good potential is still out there on the market.

Yes but from what I've heard, we have little to no NIL left. I've heard JC was willing to stay but we gave all of our NIL to MJ Russell. Same source says that Lateef Patrick is going to Oregon state. He was right about Kam and El earlier, so fairly credible.

That would be big if JC came back.

Would make a great starting 5

F:#00 JERALD COLONEL 6-9 (SR.)
F:#00 EDWIN DANIEL 6-9 (JR.)
F:#17 GEDIMINAS ALISAS 6-6 (SO.)
G:#00 MARTAVIOUS RUSSELL 6-4 (JR.)
G:#00 ERIK MAKKE 6-2 (FR.)

He won't die to lack of funds. Expecting him to announce a commitment to an SEC school soon

JC needs to go to A&M. He would fit well there.

All for Lateef Patrick to be a Beaver. After working with many Oregon State people and going to a couple of games while I lived in Southern Oregon. Go Beavs.

I figured we would miss out on JC with no more funds, but we do have two spots remaining, so perhaps maybe some walk-ons? Or just some very cheap players.
