Coach B said in his introductory speech that he didn't want shooters but he wanted MAKERS. This roster looks like it's full of guys that can score. High percentage shooters… er makers. Could be a high scoring offense. Fun times ahead.

Melvin is returning, I am not sure bout Guttierez, but I am under the impression that both are coming back. Should only have one spot to fill and it will be a budget friendly spot.

I am glad to see this young man coming back to play for the Jacks. For his very limited playing time last year he seemed to always manage to make a shot or two while on the court. For a guard he has really good size. What I really noticed was his positive attitude. Always laughing and smiling. Looks like a great young man. Hope he has a great year next season.

exactly. His attitude and body language was great when not playing much. Glad he's staying.

This is so true and dead on point.. When I first met Coach Matt
We talked about Bryceson and it was nothing but great things as a player and as a young man.. He is going to really shine this year so just watch!!

Should be an interesting battle to find the replacement for Keon at point guard. Marcus Scurry, Erik Makke, Courterius Scott and Kensington Candler.
I really liked how Scurry played this year.

Simmons had a very good high school career at Beaumont West Brook but has played very little at TCU. Didn't play at all in his first year, then appeared in only five games with 19 minutes in his Redshirt Freshman year. Thus, the transfer portal. Wouldn't be surprised if he visits Lamar next. Probably a better chance of getting playing time there than here.

According to my calculations, we have 15 players which is the maximum. I'm wondering if Braylen Langley decomitted and opened up one last roster spot. No point in visiting if the roster is full?
