I'm ready for one more flag from Coach B! He needs to pull the trigger on MJ Russell. If he lands MJ the Jacks are going to be stacked in the backcourt.

Daniel is 6'9", 215.

Reed is 6'8", 210.

Pearson is 6'8", 195. Coming from an SLC team, the coaches obviously have lots of video on him and like what they see.

We're definitely going to have more "serviceable" height this year. I can't remember the last time we had so much height on a Jacks team.

Pearson looks real athletic. Moves well.

Cherry-picked videos, I'm sure, but he can also hit a three occasionally.

Two years ago at Connors State (JUCO) Daniel led the nation with 12.6 rebounds per game. (An outstanding number!) He also averaged 3.9 blocks per game and 13 points per game. He's definitely a defensive guy.

After transferring to LaSalle his playing time dropped off dramatically, as did his numbers.

Something I enjoyed about Braeuer's first year team is that the big guys didn't shoot threes. The guys that were supposed to make shots made them.

Christmas 0-2, Colonel 0-1, Alisas 0-1, Green 0-0, Musaka 0-1

5 total three attempts, none made all season

Previous year:

Nana 27-101, Christmas 12-63, Stone 0-0, Silva 7-29, Southwick 3-13

206 total attempts with 49 makes (23.8%).

. From JUCO to D1 is quite an adjustment in most cases. This could be his year. New system and coaching staff.

Great observation. Discipline. Very disciplined team.

Two years ago at state champion Lancaster, Reed was District Defensive POY and a consensus three-star recruit.

Pearson is considered a late bloomer big. At Lancaster he was a rim protector and rebounder. He may be the "project" of these three most recent recruits. Big upside and may need more experience, but he did appear in 31 games for TAMCC, averaging 9 minutes.

I love the fact that Braeurer doesn't dilly-dally in getting and signing recruits. Under Keller it seemed like the transfer portal was almost empty before we filled up the roster.

THIS 1000% I was talking to a co-worker, Aggie, and he was like really? Y'all are almost done. Im like yep. Maybe one or two more spots, and we are set. Great way to get the new program up and running. Start building that team chemistry ASAP.

Good summary of our new guys, 93. But still not sure if Langley is a Lumberjack or an Arizona Wildcat.

At ULM averaged 15.3 ppg, shot 41.3% from the field, 31.3% from three, 69.9% from the stripe, 3.9 rpg, had 62 assists, 40 steals, 39 blocks, and seven games of 20 or more points.

In high school was Alabama Class 5-A All-State twice and Alabama Player of the Year in '21-'22.

I thought last year's recruiting class was very good - it turned out to be better than very good. But, at least on paper, this group may be even better. (Just one guy's opinion.)

But one thing's crystal clear. Braeuer and his staff are masters at recruiting.
