Despite the loss, it is easy to see that the Ladyjacks are a much better team with Traylor-Walker on board. Teams won't be taking SFA lightly in the SLC tournament.

By the way, I can't see SFA losing much to the portal. The only two might be Key Roseby and (if she plays at all as a grad student next year) Avery VanSickle.

And don't forget we have three very good HS recruits coming in next Fall, as well as Talia Vann who has been on the shelf this year. We'll be fine next year, probably a lot better than this year.

Hope you're right. She definitely supports the team. She's on the bench at every game. I am worried that she might want to get closer to home, but not many schools have both a hoops team and an aviation program.

Final. 83-55 over SELA. SFA dominated the 4th quarter 26-11. Ash Traylor in foul trouble throughout and only contributed 2 points. Key Roseby with 19 and Kaylinn Kemp with 14.

Kemp had a really good game. I'm particularly pleased to see 6 assists with only three turnovers in 33 minutes. Key had a really good second half. Ashlyn needs minutes to get in the flow with this team.

SLU is really bad. We should not have needed a 19-2 run in the fourth quarter to dominate this game.

Ladyjacks lead ETAM 35-34 at the half. Back n forth game, Ladyjacks just can't put together a good run to separate the teams.

Sorry folks--I love my Ladyjacks but that was a horrendous choke job vs a mediocre ETAM team 65-64.
Horrible 4th qtr, 20 turnovers again many looked like just careless or lazy passes.
Absolutely no excuse to have allowed ETAM to come back and beat us for the 2nd time this season.
What a low point.

No way around it. That was an ugly game. Ladyjacks lost to an inferior team, again. I did not see one ETAMU player that I wish was at SFA.

Will say that foul call seem to be very weighted to Lamar favor today.

3 straight offensive fouls called on SFA is a bit out of the range of believable.

I almost did, too. But the rule in women's ball about getting the ball in the front court after calling a timeout in the backcourt made me stay to watch the end. That rule contributed big time to the win.
