Yes they are but they get 7 quick points to open 3rd qtr. Ladyjacks are too inconsistent. Couple of good minutes then a slide.

Ladyjacks explode over the weaker Islanders in the last 8 minutes of 3rd qtr to take a 20 point lead 63-43.

In a combined 81 minutes, the three freshmen scored 42 of the 84 points on 16-26 shooting. They had 20 of the 47 rebounds. 7-9 at the free throw line.
Encouraging. I would love to see those numbers against Arkansas on Saturday.

Ladyjacks not playing well ,vs ETAM today. Down 56-46 going to the 4th quarter. Not shooting well. not rebounding on offense.

Ladyjacks fought back in the 4th to take it down to the end but some bad turnovers and generally Un Ladyjack type play allowed this game to get away from them.

Hard to understand. Playing with 8 players is a limitation. Team seems likely to be middle of the pack.

Think we have discussed this before in thread. Ladyjacks have 3 freshman, 4 sophs and a senior playing this season. That equals little experience for several and freshman playing more minutes than would be normal IF our 2 seniors that are out were playing.
Avery out for season. Beginning to look like Ashlyn and the freshman Vann may not see the floor this year either (that is just my guess).
It's going to be a tough conference season for the 8 that play with no calvary coming. The win/loss record this year is not going to look like what we fans are accustomed to. Some will want to cast blame, but it is what it is.
My concern is more towards keeping these young ladies engaged with the SFA system, keeping them healthy and wanting to return next season with experience under their belts and a new cast of recruits and by then return to the court of this year's injured. Also hope we are staying engaged with our 3 signees to keep them wanting to be Ladyjacks next season after high school. Other coaches might try to use the opportunity to sway them away due to an "off" season.
Long time Ladyjack fans will accept this as a blip in the process and continue to support the athletes.
