Bishop has named Dr. Jeanne-Marie Wilson as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Ladyjacks.

Wilson comes to SFA after four years at Howard University and a prior stop at A&M Commerce.

She's landing in a sweet spot at SFA, since the Ladyjacks will be loaded with returning and new talent this season.
Interesting comment from JoJo relayed to me. At SFA, a post about a new signing got a lot of comments and interactions. When an announcement is made at Colorado, it's crickets. It matters to the girls and coaches.

Do you know if Mimi will be back to try one more time to get a full season in? Can't have too many point guards.

I think Mimi may be done. Physically can't go anymore. Still in school.

I can see the Ladyjacks having one loss in pre-conference play (to Arkansas, maybe) and one upset loss somewhere along the way in conference play. They're going to be that good!

The potential is definitely there. ACU is always tough. UH has a new, very successful HC, along with some quality transfers. La Tech in Ruston can be a challenge. Really glad to see us playing the Lady Techsters. Hope that continues. Arkansas is Arkansas. Not great last season, but still a 2nd quartile team.

I'm interested to see if we have a true PG starter this year. How does Lydia recover from her knee injury? Does a newcomer step up? Avery and others did a nice job last year, but that's not their best position.

T Mo, particularly the one in the SLC Tournament, will be tough to replace. She sacrificed her body in the championship game.
