Before everyone gets too excited that the Jacks have an easy 5th win in a row against a 3-23 Lions team, let's remember that after the last time we played them, they dismantled the same NWST we played on Saturday by 22 points.

The Lions have not had many complete games, but this is as close to a trap game as we can come this year. Time to execute, play with pride, and keep this momentum rolling.

You stole my idea about this being a possible trap game…haha. Isn't it great that we are talking about a trap game for our Jacks who were down and almost knocked out (different sport), but they rose like Rocky and traded blows with numerous opponents?

This season has the potential of being truly remarkable. I can't think of a team in recent memory that crawled out of such a massive hole. It was almost deep as a $37 trillion deficit. We are not in the clear yet, but it's looking 100% better.

Tonight, the Lumberjack train stops in Commerce. So sad for East Texas A&M. (I hope I don't eat crow.)

The Jacks are going to be focused tonight and will dominate the glass.

While I am more concerned with SFA continuing their win streak...I feel for the ETAM guys lack of any crowd. Maybe 20 folks on the side we can see. Of course 3-23 will do that to ya.

Was called on the bench so Sylla must have said something. He was ID'ed as the culprit.

Sloppy was the key word describing the first half. If it was Sylla who said something to get a tech, he's needs to keep his mouth shut. The whole momentum seemed to switch to East Texas A&M. Most teams enjoy being in the Bonus early...not us.

A good tongue lashing at half should be what propels us to another victory.

It usually doesn't show in the stat sheets, and this is going to sound strange since he's a PG, but IMO Keon Thompson is the Jacks' best rebounder. He uses sound rebounding technique. He blocks out well and leaps for rebounds rather than merely jumping flat-footed. Our big guys do neither of those things well. They depend too much on their length rather than their technique. Again, just my opinion. (Look who's leading the Jacks in rebounds at the half.)

Agree, he's a great rebounder. Unfortunately he's struggling keeping his assist to turnover ratio at a good level.
