LAKE CHARLES McNeese's men's basketball game on Monday against Stephen F. Austin will move up to a 3 p.m. tip-off up from its regularly schedule time of 6 o'clock due to the forecasted winter weather later that evening and for the safety of the fans, teams, staff and SFA.
And with Monday being Martin Luther King Day, McNeese will offer a special walk-up price of 50 percent off all general admission and reserved seating.
McNeese and SFA will be playing as Southland Conference opponents for the first time since December 4, 2020, which is also the last time the two have met as league foes.
The Cowboys are the defending Southland Conference champions and were selected to repeat as title holders while SFA was picked second in the preseason poll.

Thanks for starting the thread. SFA's season has basically imploded, so I don't expect much competition come Monday. I will look forward to seeing the Cowboys with my own eyes though.

Guess we are going to go with the three ball and hope it sinks. Not an awful line so far. McNeese winning in the FT but rest is the same.

Also our team just bails after the shot has been taken we shoud just hang around for the rebound. We always do this. I don't get it.

Astoundingly bad.

At 1-7 we're three games back from the 8 seed. Our 7 losses have been by an average of 11 ppg. Most of those were not the cream of the crop. Still sitting at third worst conference record in SFA D1 history along with 4th worst points/game.
