WHERE: Dugan Wellness Center (Corpus Christi, TX)
WATCH: ESPN+

The Jacks try to shake off a loss in the valley by beating the Islanders in Corpus. Coming back after a several year hiatus, SFA is ready for their first Southland win.

The Islanders are led by their two strong forwards Clark and Dease. They are third in the nation in scoring under the basket. The team averages 81 points a game, but they are the worst at shooting free throws.

The Jacks have to find their offensive mojo if they don't want to be embarrassed this year. Keon is a bright light. Hopefully he can keep things rolling today.

This is just a bad team. 17-10 lead becomes 22-32. Bad shooting, turnovers, no cohesion, nothing.

I hate how Keller recruits the Press mentality, but we can NEVER find a decent three-point shooting team. I dream of being a UTA someday, lol. Chuck the ball, and do not worry about praying it goes in.

I haven't been able to watch any of it today due to some car troubles, but it doesn't look pretty.

I sincerely wish there is a glimmer of hope in our season, but I haven't seen it yet. Instead, it's a repeat of being just a little bit worse than the prior year. After a few years of being worse than the prior year, you go from beating Duke to getting blown out by Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
