gilmore also looked good against northwestern, he has definitely improved over the season. i remeber at one point in the season he was taken out of the starting line up

Looks like we actually had more people at the nw state (6207 ) vs (5938). Probably would have been sold out if we had won on Thursday but thats what happens when u loose. 7000 seats is a lot to fill up for school our size in our conference. We should expect more but also be happy.SMU a top 25 team has 7000 seats and Villanovas campus stadium has 6500.

I enjoyed being able to go to this game. Great spirited crowd. It was raining throughout the day.

Anyways, glad of how our boys played. SFA out-witted and played more aggressively than SHSU throughout the entire game. We still had one or two dry spells but the interior decision making for our team has improved. We did not let Sam control the boards like they did the first game.

It was gritty at moments because Sam plays an aggressive man defense, but we managed to make plays. Leon was on fire. I still think our offense takes too long to setup and we don't exhaust the options in the system but there was marked improvement.

I wish our coaches and team the best of luck at Katy, they can beat anyone there, it is just a matter of putting it together for a few games.

I completely agree. I really am pulling for him, but something is wrong. Shots are off, not smart fouls, and passing not crisp. He was on fire early in the season, but if in a loooonnng slump.

Agree completely. It's almost embarrassing. One group said they wanted to beat the crowd. Really? So it takes you 5 minutes to get out of the parking lot instead of 10. Geez

Well we get another shot at a 20 win season.

I think if CJ, Bain, and Neim...had been able to play this year we would have won at least 2 of those 4 games against the bottom feeders and had our conference title and number 1 seed. And, if Ty had been 90-100% all year.

I was able to make the trip for the game...first time to get to see the new video board in person...I've always liked wrj, but it's even better now...very impressive. Still need a sign outside saying "welcome to the sawmill" though.

I agree. A "Welcome to The Sawmill " would be great.

"Welcome to the Sawmill" is a tremendous idea and it has been knocked around for a while. Has anyone approached the AD or the suits about this? I cannot imagine an objection.

What's it cost? We could do a kickstarter.
