WHEN: 11/15 (TUE) 6:30P.M.
WHERE: William R. Johnson Coliseum (Nacogdoches, TX)
WATCH: ESPN+

The Lumberjacks are back tonight at home playing the Braves of Alcorn State. Alcorn is coming off a big win for their program against a decent Wichita State team. Both teams shot terribly and the low scoring affair ended with Alcorn on top.

The Lumberjacks are also feeling good after handling Gardner-Webb even though they were shorthanded. Nana had a breakout performance while Day Day and Roti rolled at the level that we hope they will all season. Scoring inside and out has been potent through the first two games, and it will be a winning formula tonight.

Alcorn is not tall and are guard heavy, but they haven't been shooting well. Keeping them to their averages will be critical. Jack chemistry has been good and if they can keep it flowing then this should be a prelude to some purple lights.

A peek at our next month. A lot of solid basketball teams ahead. There's no sleeping on a single one of these teams. WAC play is long and difficult but these next 8 D1 games are where this team builds its identity. We need 5 wins to tread water. 7 or 8 and we know we have something special. 4 or less, it's going to be a long year.

Yeah, hate to say it but the height issue and health there, will be with us all year. There will be games where it will be less of an issue and I fear games that it will really smack us down.
