Not negative...an honest assessment of the last 2 games. One can be a Ladyjack fan and be quite aware when they did not play well or lost a game they had no business losing and comment in that regard. Doesn't diminish my place as a fan, doesn't diminish the success that the Ladies have had this season. Pretty sure the coaching staff and the ladies themselves are aware of how the last 2 games went.
Also not a women vs men thing either. I was furious when the Duke beating men lost to A&MCC that season. Totally unexplainable result as was the UTRVG game Saturday and those kind of losses are hard to take and digest. When the men are playing poorly, their game threads are full of negative remarks or whining (sometimes by myself) about poor play, why is so and so playing etc. Quite common on that thread. If your point is that the Ladies should be immune from any comments that could remotely be considered negative because they are women then we just have to disagree. The UTRVG loss was a bad loss. Now they must forget about it and focus on the Wac tourney.
Been a Ladyjack fan since the fall of 1976 when I discovered them my freshman year and they were the draw as far as SFA sports went at that time. I've seen the great, good, bad and ugly over all those years including many pre internet years where I had to hope that the Austin paper might have all the basketball scores from the previous evening. Ladyjacks have always been a special culture and it's great that the Kellogg years have brought them back to a level that they belong. I'm looking forward to their continued success this season and beyond.
