Nothing good. Chance he wont be back this season. Nothing definite, just unfortunately slow progress.nacluth said:
Yeah I just got hyped! Watching all that makes me wonder all the more about Niemenin. Isaac or anyone else, any news on his return?
Yeah, I agree about Niemenen. It's been so long since he's played that I'd almost forgotten about him. Very disappointed that we may lose him for the rest of this year. But at the same time, he'll be another weapon on what should be an outstanding team next year... Getting him and Bain back, along with adding Mack, Fisher, and Bogues, while only losing one senior.nacluth said:
Oh no. I'm really disappointed for him and for the team. He definitely has huge upside and I know he's a big missing piece for us. Just watching those over the top passes to him in the videos makes me realize how a bigger guy would be a huge threat. Holyfield handles it ok, but he just doesn't quite have the mass needed to move a true big man. Huntley and Jovan have minor success in this area. I sure have been hoping for a boost from getting him back. I guess I'll temper my expectations.
Thanks for the update
I have to agree on them being the best SFA team ever, but I'd like to see a fantasy game with them playing the 29-1 SFA team of 1970. That starting lineup went 7'1", 6'9", 6'7", 6'6", and 6'6", their 6th man was 6'11", and they had five drafted into the NBA. They averaged over 90 ppg, and that was before the three-point line existed. The 6'7" guy was a forward sharpshooter named Harvey Huffstetler who shot over 50% from beyond what would have been the three-point line.SFA_03 said:
Its really hard to believe how badly that team struggled at the beginning of the year. They had some bad losses and some close wins to bad teams. Then they became the best team in SFA history. Easily.
