Was looking at our roster to just figure out who was who and...no Hart? Did I miss something about him leaving?

Also, CJ Williams is on staff as a video coordinator, I really liked the way he played back in "the day."

I'm assuming it's the same CJ. Looks like him.

Agree. Seems like tempo is on the game plan. We're really frustrating LeTourneau with speed. When we were playing slow LT did better on defense. But speed was helping our defense too. Also allowed for some blown assignments.

We definitely have some "beef" on the team this year. Kensmil, Brown, Daniels. They're not going to get pushed around by anyone.

And Gavin has not just shown strength tonight. He's shown some finesse and touch.

In the last two coaches' weekly Zoom shows, Keller has said that this is a team that will score points. He mentioned that we were (I believe) 8th in the country in scoring last year, and he sounded like we should surpass that this year. He has also mentioned the passing ability of our guys and sharing the ball.

A good veteran team is making a big impact in the first half. This has to be one of the cleanest looks out of the gate in a while. Newcomers look like they are buying in. Another half to go, but this has been better than most of our exhibitions recently.

I'm impressed with this being our first game. These guys have been ready to play. It usually takes awhile for us to get it together but I'm seeing some good team cohesion here...and great leadership from our seniors!

It was 50-32 at the half, last season in the first game of the 2019-20 season against the Yellowjackets.

They had senior Nate West D3Hoops.com National Player of the Year, who scored 38 points in that game.
