SFA (10-2, 2-0) vs. Paul Quinn
WHEN: DEC 28 (SAT) 2:00 P.M.
WHERE: William R. Johnson Coliseum (Nacogdoches,TX)
WATCH: ESPN+
2019 is coming to the close with the final home game of non-conference play Saturday afternoon. The Jacks will face off against NAIA strongman Paul Quinn. The home team has had a week of rest and food, and this game will help shake off the rust at home before going off to two tough road games in Louisiana next week. Look forward to a lot of Christmas cheer at WRJ, and the Lumberjacks deserve it as they have finished this fall slate unbeaten at home.
While the Tigers may not be much to fear generally, they have played tough this year against their D1 opponents and have a national championship in their program's history (NAIA). This year so far, they have already competed against Sam Houston, Nicholls, and McNeese as well as SWAC's Alcorn State. Nicholls was the tightest game at a 16 point loss, but at our most recent foe McNeese's house, they lost by 42. The faith-based institution out of Dallas gets their first crack at the winningest Texas program of recent years. They will be praying for a miracle.
Come on out for a special holiday edition of Jack Madness, and see your team show out for an afternoon.
