Tailgate outside the coliseum announced for the doubleheader.
Agreed. I love how SMU's "mob" student section does it. Its the lower level all the way around:PurpleOut said:
I for one, still wish we would try to have the students surround the baseline and all be close to the court and opposing bench. Would easily be a greater environment.
This but the complete opposite. Have no idea how you can say that. We took too many jump shots and didn't drive. It was one of Keller's bigger points in the post-game conversations. We need to do better getting to the line.mwaddell said:
This game we over-drove the ball, needlessly clogging up the lanes as we have seen before.
We are playing with fire. We won today and thats okay but we got burned on Saturday in San Antonio. we where up by 3 and UCA inbound the ball and passed it to a wide open player (who had already made 2 three early in the game.) He had all the time in the world to shoot but lucky he hit the rim. Sounds familiarPurpleOut said:
Not sure exactly what some of you were talking about. The last 5 minutes of the game our possessions looked like this:
Realism isn't denial. Three guys are back from last years team: a guy who was a freshman (TJ), a guy who's playing with a massive bandage over a broken hand (Ty), and a guy who only saw the court in defensive relief (Dallas). Well, and Jovan. If you can't see why the level of play might be a little bit back down to earth for one season, I can't help.CottonValleyJack said:
I agree with BigJack85. How can anyone defend this level of play? We went from running the SLC table (for years) and iconic tournament victories to losing to Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian. I guess some are still in the denial stage.
