Start of a 2-game road stretch, Corpus barely got by UCA at home yesterday. I don't think we should see such a lop sided score this time, but it's definitely a very winnable game if we play like we did last week. Playing in Corpus has traditionally been very tough for us.

The key is going to be stopping Thomas like last time. He's going to be coming for blood, but if we can frustrate him early, I like our chances. Of course that is if we can shoot outside of Nacogdoches. Our guys were pumped after the last two games. We need a road win to turn this into reality.

what the heck is ROOT tv. If we can play on the road even half as good as we did at home we should win. We are shooting really good from the 3 but we cant be a team that relays on it. Bc someday it wont fall. Hopefully we can stay below 15 turnovers for the game and not get in the Bonus in the first five minutes
Root TV is the cable/satellite sports channel in the Houston area. (Except for Dish Network, which does not have a contract with them.) They primarily carry Astros and Rockets games.sfa17 said:

School is back in session at AMCC, but there's a lot of students in the stands disguised as empty seats. Typical non-SFA SLC crowd. And yet their tennis coach just said this was a big crowd.

The officials can shove their "area of emphasis." That travel call on Leon was a joke.
16 points is great despite our own shooting. I remember an 8 point lead at half from Nicholls, 9 against Corpus last time. Hopefully the second half will be the same result.

Jacks played a very poor first half and still lead by 8 at the break. If we can play a "normal" game in the second half and get TJ and Ivan involved we'll be OK. I'm guessing their disappearing act has not gone unnoticed by the coaching staff and will be a point of discussion in the locker room.
Did anyone catch why Thomas is not playing? Injury? Discipline? The announcers are just saying "coach's decision".
16 bench point in the first half compared to 0 for cc
It's a different looking defensive pressure than last year, but it's just as disconcerting.

This is a race to 50..if anyone can get there, they win.
These refs suck. That should have been a foul on Ehab for the excessive contact. No clue why our guys can pass ant cut on this team. No idea.
Holyfield's no show was just to make it fair that they couldn't play Thomas. We've had 10 minutes of bonus and 6 free throws in that time.
I hate having Jovan on the floor at crunch time.
Another travel call that doesn't hold up to scrutiny
