Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness... Too close! But we'll take it.

It wasn't pretty, but it's a road win at a tough place. We'll take the 4-2.

Monkey off our back. Don't care how, we won a game on the road.

Good things: Ty Charles, Ivan playing defense (that wasn't there early in the year), Leon playing defense (as always), toughness, excellent defense overall (as always)
Bad things: TJ (ouch...), forgot how to offense again for whole stretches, lethargic with good looks again tonight, turnovers.

Probably wont get it done with that on Saturday but I'll take it tonight. 4-2.

More tomorrow.

Wow. We have a lot to work on. But at least we won. We would have lost this games 4 weeks ago. 0 points for TJ is unacceptable. He is not ready to be "the guy". Ivan made up for his bad first half. We are passing up too many opportunities. We can't play like this against Sam or Uno. Ivan and Ty came up big. Hopefully this is the road win we needed. Frustrating game

This team is learning to win on the road. Need better ball movement, shot selection was tough. And every loose ball was going to the Islanders. Sometimes you got to find a way to win with everything going wrong. And they did that tonight.

One last thing: we played great defense tonight but so did they. Islanders deserve a TON of credit for how rough we looked.

16 points first half, 42 the second for them. I know shots started falling, but fouls (and jitters?) led to lax defense midway through the second.

You take a road win any way you can, especially at Corpus. Had a tough game there last year and lost there the year before. But this squad needed a road win however they could get it.

The mental mistakes are just mind boggling sometimes. I almost lost it with Gilmores foul on Amin, that should never happen at any point in a game. Much less late in the game. This is a difficult year for us as fans. We're used to Walkup, Parker, Haymon, Pinkney, etc. We don't have those IQ guys right now it seems.

And TJ......I just don't know what to say anymore. So frustrating to watch someone have so much talent and potential yet plays like and seems like he has no passion for the game. He should be a 15 and 10 guy every night in this league. ZERO points and ONE rebound in 19 minutes tonight.
