I don't know how Bain's going to foul out when the refs have called like three fouls the whole game, but he is. Seriously how can we draw a foul? Where's the SLC ref?

That was Karl. Mitch started the 2nd half, but hasn't played much overall.

I love when refs completely change the way they call a game. Doesn't matter tonight, but the second half is completely different from the first.
Jock getting some good minutes. He's looked pretty good on the ball, has a lot of learning to do.

All new players plus Bain on floor.
This reminds me of a certain Baylor game.
I'm impressed with Karl....the more games we get in, the better he will be. Same with Mitch. Bain has been a beast again. He will be key to our defense with the PGs out and even when Aaron returns.
What an embarrassment, I'm pretty sure I saw us just blow a 2 on none fast break.

It sure doesn't seem like we've got 11 offensive rebounds compared to their 13.
Ok, I am obviously not over wallowing in self pity over the injuries. This part of the season is going to be brutal, just have to keep the goal in mind. Is this how Northwestern felt during conference play the last several years?

Karl is looking very good. He should only continue to develop and get plugged into the offense.
We can only get better from this point. Only upwards

He's not physical. He has to toughen up.
Ok, moving on...looking forward to football Thursday night...oh wait. When does Volleyball play next?

He's had a rough night offensively, had a few unlucky bounces and tough assignments on both ends of the court. He'll be ok.SFAJack_76 said:

The guys didn't quit, which is about the only tangible that will still apply if we get atleast one PG back. Oh and Nicholas rocks, wish that off the backboard bit worked.
Not a pretty night but all hope is not lost. Keller didnt forget how to coach and our talent didnt just disappear. We will be fine. Our season isn't made in November. I would have liked a better showing on national TV, but this was a learning experience for everyone. Take the lumps and move on now...

So by comparison, Southweatern Assembly of God would have lost by 39 to Miami.

That's why the Tourney's in March, not November.
And I'd challenge any team in the country to play at a high level 3 games in with their starting and backup PG out. It's just not gonna happen. Anywhere.
We are historically slow starters to the season even when we had brad. This was going to be a tough game even at full health. We have the talent just need the chemnistry and Aaron back.
