Looking at their schedule, outside of their game's against Sam Houston, Prairie View, and Lamar, all games have been close. Against A&M and McNeese, that is impressive. Against HBU, UIW, ACU, and Northwestern State? Not so much.

I like the speed guys in Jones and Lawton as starters on the corners for next season, with Giles and Fox backing them up.

I know it's directly related to the competition, but we can see Blumrick maturing game-to-game as a college QB. Should provide for an interesting competition with the return of Sawyer next year.

Leaving our volleyball. Watching the Ladyjacks win the conference championship outright then going on to football. Love the basketball team, but would rather watch football in person than basketball on a PC.

Well a loss today essentially confirms what we've pretty much known - that we're the 6th best team in the league. A win would be a statement that next year might see us moving toward the #3 spot in the SLC.

I think we've got what it takes to win today, and it should be an entertaining game. After the Central Arkansas game though, this season was all about next year.

Defense is getting pushed around pretty good, can't seem to stop much of anything, but they did get a stop on 3rd and goal 10-3 Nicholls

Defense definitely has their hands full today trying to keep us in game. Offense looks very inept today but some of that is due to Nicholls defense.

But huge props to the defense for keeping this game to a touchdown. Also Storm Ruiz is the best SFA kicker in a long time.

Nicholls has run the same off tackle play 14 times by my count. They've probably averaged 7 yards on that play.

I was in the press box a while back when it happened. Band people found it hilarious. Coaches...Not so much
